Apple giving away free Beats Flex earphones to new Apple Music Student Plan subscribers

Apple is running a new special promotion for new Apple Music Student Plan subscribers in the United States and the United Kingdom, which offers a free pair of Beats Flex earphones when new listeners subscribe to the service after paying for the first month’s subscription.

Spotted by Michael Burkhardt on Twitter, Apple has been running the special promotion since June 22, but the deal has gone unnoticed until now. The promotion follows after Apple quietly announced last month that it would be increasing the price of its discounted Apple Music student subscription in several countries worldwide.

To qualify for the offer, Student Plan subscribers must be first-time Apple Music subscribers. Users must sign up for a free Apple Music trial and then pay for one month after the trial has ended to be eligible, with Apple emailing subscribers after their first month’s subscription has been paid with instructions on how to claim their free Beats Flex earphones worth $69.99.

The offer is available for a “limited time,” with Apple not sharing an end date for the promotion.
