Washington State’s first approved medication assistant program for CNAs will train you to complete the MACE and take the next step in your healthcare career.
Health Professionals Institute is the first school in the state approved to teach classes for the medication assistant endorsement certification (MA-C).
At HPI, we limit all of our classes to a maximum of 50 students. Receive hands-on tutelage from experienced instructors.
Our medication assistant program includes 100 hours of instruction across both clinical experience and lab hours.
This certification allows CNAs to pass routine medications under the supervision of an RN. With an MA-C, you will be able to take on more responsibility and grow your career as a CNA.
An MA-C is a useful certification for CNAs working in nursing facilities, intermediate care facilities for individuals with an intellectual disability or related conditions, correctional institutions, and assisted-living facilities. Our course covers pharmacology, medication classification, drug dosage, and more so that you can safely and confidently administer medication, recognize side effects, and accurately record dosage and treatment.
